Access to salary data for health professionals will make it possible to develop national analyses of the public hospital service (in the broad sense, including permanent and contractual employees, medical and non-medical staff) according to the different categories of staff or the characteristics of their employers. These analyses could be enriched by comparisons of staff numbers or wages for equivalent occupations in the private sector.
