Evaluation of the “sensitive” urban areas (ZUS), deprived urban areas (ZRU) and tax-exonerated zones (ZRU) policies

This study is set within the frame of a research contract between Sciences Po and DARES (the research department of the French work ministry), and its purpose is to evaluate policies at the town level which address the needs of underprivileged urban areas, and more precisely three “area status” which were set up over the last decade or so: “sensitive” urban areas (ZUS), deprived urban areas (ZRU) and tax-exonerated zones (ZRU) policies.
