Social dialogue as a mean to differ and discuss the effects of Covid-19 on the labour market

COVIDIA
This project aims to analyze the processes of informing staff representatives and negotiating collective agreements, by first of all gaining insight into how social partners perceive the issues associated with the health crisis. The investigation is structured around four axes, three of which are chronological (lockdown, lifting of lockdown, return to normal). The fourth axis looks more broadly at the new types of industrial relations, in a context of physical distance from the usual workplaces and digitalization of the tools used by the social partners. The research will proceed using monographs of companies, drawn from sectors facing varying and contrasting situations. This sectoral investigation will begin by studying company agreements (available on d@ccord, by exploiting REPONSE data), and will also use data from ACEMO surveys, produced by DARES.
