Local labour market mismatches and heterogeneity of jobs and geography: a course in labour economics

The emergence from the health crisis has once again raised the issue of the supply/demand mismatch across local labour markets on the French labour market, of the shortage in certain professions, and of labour shortages in certain sectors. This project aims to investigate the how this mismatch of supply/demand issues has evolved over the last 30 years, to understand the proportion due to geography and segmentation by occupation, and to determine the weighting of different factors (mobility of companies, workers or wage setting mechanisms).
