Evolution of poultry farms: typology, socio-economic analysis, demographic projections

Based on French agricultural census data of 2020 and other specific datasets, ITAVI and its partners will build a new typology of farms (to complete OTEX/PBS typology). Based on the data, including information on poultry house and commercialisation, an assessment of poultry production and its evolution will be conducted. By using specific RA2020 information (family situation, level of education, family ties, nature of outside activities, intentions of older workers), it will be possible to analyse the demographics of poultry farmers, installation trends and the different forms of farms.
