Corporate governance and investments to protect the environment

GOVIENV
We postulate that coroprate governance arrangements influence the representation of environmental protection by managers, which in turn is reflected in their investment decisions to protect the environment. The objective of this econometric study is to explain corporate investments as a function of several governance practices. The methodology will consist in matching the micro-data of the surveys requested on the basis of the SIREN number, in order to gather in the same database the variables concerning the investments to protect the environment and the variables specifying the corporate governance modalities. As the surveys requested are exhaustive for companies belonging to sections B,C and D of nad rev3 and having more than 500 employees, our analysis will therefore focus on the large companies of these sectors.
