Measuring segregation by analyzing small units

MESSAPT
Segregation indexes can be used to calculate segregation when analyzing small units. We will produce non-parametric identification results for the segregation quantity in the case of a binomial mixed model. We will also produce an estimation and inference method. We wish to apply this method to the analysis of segregation in French establishments. As a part of segregation by nationality can reflect the fact that establishments have compositions (in terms of qualifications) which are quite different, we wish to control the influence of other variables (Hellerstein and Neumark, 2008). To do so we wish to obtain counts for value of variable vector (using qualification, nationality and gender, as well as age if possible).
