Wage gap and innovation

This project aims to verify if the rising wage gap is indeed caused by corporate innovation, first by studying if the productivity distribution and the quality/quantity of patents have been spread out over a certain amount of time. We will then verify if the average wage has risen most in companies with a high productivity growth rate or which have filed a high number of patents.
