Wellbeing in France

We will study in depth existing data on wellbeing in France in order to (1) Replicate studies carried out in other countries (with comparable data) and see if similar results are obtained (e.g. the “U curb” graph describing the evolution of wellbeing, based on an individual’s age) (2) observe wellbeing levels and evolution over time, and their relation to individual characteristics (gender, education, income, family status, involvement in civic and social activities, employed or unemployed, etc.) and environmental characteristics (mixed environment, social capital, urban/rural place of residency, city/town size, etc.).
