Analysing the creation of jobs for independant workers

This project will analyze jobs created by independent workers, which will form a special chapter in the 2016/17 issue on SME performance published by the EU Commission’s General Directorate of the Home market, industry, entrepreneurship and SMEs. The analysis will use longitudinal data at company level. In order to isolate jobs created by independent workers, the study will take into account companies which started out as “self-employed” or companies without employees.
