Decomposing wage inequality and their evolution: the part played by companies

DECOMPO
Our research project will first consist in a descriptive analysis (as “non-parametric” as possible, in line with the recent studies from Guvenen, Bloom and co-authors) of the phenomenons mentioned in the studies. Secondly, we wish to analyze in more detail causality links between some of these phenomenons and shed light on variables analyzed. We wish to here use the results to develop a theoretical structure capable of explaining what is observed using the existing literature on theoretical/structural approaches to labor economics.
