Inter- and intra-sectoral professional pathways, education and competence

This research project is related to central themes of public economics and labor economics, namely the respective roles of general and specific skills in professional transitions and mobility, and the impact of economic shocks between sectors and between workers. In addition, these themes are a hot topic in France: the government has announced its intention to invest heavily in skills, training, and more generally in securing career paths. This research project could shed some academic light on the decisions that the administration will have to make.
