TraSAD - Sustainable Work in Sustainable Agriculture

TRASADU
Beyond strictly agronomic considerations, the agro-ecological transition raises the still largely unaddressed question of the human dimension of this transformative production model. The TraSAD project aims to examine the impact of the agro-ecological transition on farmers and employees in terms of changes in employment and working conditions, and the impact on their physical and mental health. More specifically, this research project focuses on the wine sector based on a comparison between three regions (Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie and Grand Est), and by mobilizing both statistical data (matching between PKViti surveys and MSA (Mutualité Sociale Agricole) data) and case studies based on interviews with farmers and employees. From this, it is expected that the TraSAD project will contribute to the development of MSA support activities and, more broadly, participate in a phenomenon of social transformation.
