Flu Vaccination

The objective of this project is to assess the causal effect of eligibility for free vaccination on the adherence of influenza vaccination. We also investigate the heterogeneity of the impact across gender, income, education, and health behaviour. As the influenza vaccine is free of charge for individuals aged 65 and more, we aopt a regression discontinuity strategy around the age threshold to measure the effects of the policy on the vaccination adherence.
