Structural modelling of labor and housing markets transitions

This project aims to model both job seeking processes (Bontemps, Robin & Van den Berg, 1999) and the search for housing in several regions (Kennan & Walker, 2011). We wish to answer these following questions: What is the geographical scale over which the job search is carried out? What are the respective impacts of the frictions between different segments of the housing market (private rental, social rental, proprietary) and the individual attachment to one home in particular?
