The Caregivers cohort in CONSTANCES (SOIGNANCES)

As highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare professionals are exposed to numerous occupational risks ("occupational exposome") that can affect their health. SOIGNANCES, a cohort of more than 13,000 healthcare professionals included in the CONSTANCES cohort, will make it possible to characterise their occupational exposome in France today and to evaluate the links between this exposome and their health by means of subjective and objective measurements, based both on questionnaire data and data from the SNDS. In four areas - hardship and occupational exposome, quality of life/perceived health/aging well, mental health and addistive behaviours, cancer and reproductive health - the project will define indicators, describe their prevalence and incidence, and compare them with each other and with those measured in other professionals or other comparable occupations
