The effect of TGV through production network

How would high-speed rail affect firm’s behaviour through the production network? Would high-speed rail also benefit firms located far from the rail stations? To answer these questions, we must understand how companies choose their suppliers and buyers, that is to say, the formation of the production network. My project proposes to study the endogenous decisions of companies in terms of supplier-buyer relationships. My goal Is to produce new evidence on the propagation of high-speed rail benefits through the production network, as well as to construct a quantitative model of endogenous network formation to assess this affect.
