Characterizing wage dynamics and employment over an extended period

We suggest developing econometric analysis methods to describe career evolution over an extended period. Much research has been carried out on the evolution of wage inequalities based on wage processes to estimate in what way the inequalities observed are permanent or transitory. These representations are also used in models aiming to analyze household consumption, so as to measure income volatility.
