This year, the ENSAE Data Challenge brought together 5 groups of 3rd-year students to tackle a theme proposed by Sanofi: the study of environmental factors that can influence a pathology such as type I diabetes.
To meet this challenge, the students worked intensively from December to April on opendata (environmental / infrastructure / geographic…) and health data. For the latter, the students used CASD secure boxes in dedicated rooms at ENSAE.
The Challenge went very well, with students coming up with a wealth of ideas and ingenuity, and proposing 5 methodologies for 5 different approaches to analyzing exposure factors that could influence the onset of type I diabetes.
A big well done to the students for the quality of their work.
