Education: signing of an agreement for the provision of DEPP data

The Direction de l’évaluation, de la prospective et de la performance (DEPP), the statistical service of the French Ministry of Education, has just signed an agreement with CASD to make its data available in CASD’s secure computing environments.

The data produced by the DEPP is very rich and of high quality. In particular, the “Inser-Jeunes” program will be the first source transmitted in this context. Jointly supported by the DEPP and the DARES, this program makes it possible to analyze the professional integration of young people after vocational training.

Inser-Jeunes is based on matching school records with employers’ monthly Déclarations Sociales Nominatives (DSN). This provides accurate tracking of students’ trajectories 6, 12, 18, and 24 months after completing their training.

Researchers can now consult the documentation on the CASD website and submit their access requests to the Statistical Confidentiality Committee via the CDAP portal. (https://cdap.casd.eu).

CASD would like to extend its special thanks to DEPP for this new partnership, which will enrich the analytical possibilities for scientific research in the field of public policy evaluation in the key area of education.
