Inspector General of INSEE, former student of École Polytechnique, graduate of École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Économique, and holder of a master’s degree in philosophy from Paris I, Fabrice Lenglart has been head of the Directorate for Research, Studies, Evaluation, and Statistics (DREES) since 2020.
He has numerous links to research. Early in his career, he was a researcher at the Centre for Economic and Statistical Research (CREST) and he was also Deputy Commissioner General of France Stratégie between 2016 and 2018, where extensive research was conducted in the field of public policy evaluation.
The CASD, which has had numerous exchanges and collaborations with Fabrice Lenglart in his previous roles, welcomes his appointment to the management of INSEE and looks forward to his arrival at the General Assembly of the CASD public interest group, where he will represent INSEE on behalf of the State.
