Agricultural Policy Changes: the socio-economic and environmental consequences of increased competitiveness

This projet aims at studying the impact of the reform of the European Common Agricultural Policy. We want to understand how moving from price-control to an area-based subsidy schme impacted agricultural productivity, and through that competitiviness. Specifically, we want to understand how this policy change impacted market entry and exit dynamics, the pass-through from productivity to competitiviness, and hoaw this mpacted the distibution of land ownership in France, and the environmrntal impact of agriculture.
