Calculating the impact (on a short or medium term basis) of an economic layoff on the career and income of a French worker

Two approaches will be used: the first is typical, using regression on episodes of mass layoffs (developed by Jacobson). In the second we suggest to address the causality issue with a discontinuous regression.
