This project is conduced by CEREQ in the framework of the call of the French Skills Investment Plan (PIC). The project aims at investigating the consequences of the Covid crisis on training access and on the professional projects and aspirations of French workers. The research focuses on the changing work and training practices in this particular context, the changes occurring to career parths and to professional projects, and the effects on training needs and skills development. For this purpose, in 2021 CEREQ has set up an ad hoc statistical survey called IMPACT by re-interviewing up to 6500 French Training and Employee Trajectory Survey (DEFIS 2015-2019) respondents. The FORCE dataset will be used to enrich and consolidate the data reported. In particular, this enrichment will allow to better document the workers’ mobilities and their periods of unemployment.
