Developing data matching methods for the TERUTI and TERUTI-LUCAS surveys and high spatial resolution satellite imagery on a regional scale

The annual TERUTI/ TERUTI-LUCAS field survey and the GEOSUD annual satellite coverage will present a strong complementarity in terms of detailed information and spatial resolution. When TERUTI/ TERUTI-LUCAS supplies spatial information on a small scale which is rich and precise, GEOSUD supplies large scale information (5m resolution). It requires expertise and field verification before we can obtain a relevant classification. TERUTI-LUCAS must also be able to adapt to specific situations, hence the need to develop methods to couple TERUTI-LUCAS and GEOSUD so as to produce large scale quality information.
