This project conducts an in-depth analysis of patent filing and protection dynamics in France by integrating patent data (INPI, Patstat), scientific publications (Open alex), and contextual information on companies and researchers.
Access to CASD data enables advanced statistical analyses, sectore-based mapping of the innovation ecosystem, evaluation of public policies' impacts, and a counterfactual approach to identify drivers and barriers to patent protection among French firms.
The objective is to deliver an accurate, updated, and evidence-based overview of innovation dynamics and scientific valorization across the national territory, supporting straegic decision-making and policy evaluation.
