The role of space in shaping household energy demand

GES0000
This empirical study will integrate the two main sources of Green House Gas emissions generated by households, i.e. buildings and transports. We wish to measure the influence of urbanization patterns on energy consumption. Results will help us evaluate the overall efficiency of a densification policy as a strategy to address climate change, and aim to orientate spatial policy decisions. We will thus need access to confidential data as much of the information we need is not freely available.
