Mobility Innovation Society 2

MINNOSO
The Minnos 2 project studies the relationships between the mobility of researchers from companies, external cooperation of these researchers, territorial science policies, and business innovation. It includes several analyses: 1) The definition of a Knowledge Production Function based on these relationships. The long term data for France allow econometric treatments to identify the determinants of business innovation. 2) The international mobility of researchers as one of the dimensions, neglected by applied research, of the internationalization of business R&D. 3) The characteristics of the innovation resulting from business-university collaborations. For these three analyses, data from the MESRI about business R&D are a very rich and little exploited source of empirical treatments.
