The overall objective of the project is to investigate past and present adaptation of vulnerable coastal systems exposed to persistent eutrophication, and to explore possible transformative pathways towards more sustainable and equitable futures. The case study is Douarnenez Bay between 1950 and 2020. Access to data will allow for the reconstruction of past trajectories by specifying changes in agricultural land use and highlighting the determinants associated with nitrogen (N) pressure and the dynamics of environmental impacts.
