Segmentation between undetermined duration and determined duration employment contracts

Increasingly often employer use shorter term employment contracts in France, and it is becoming increasingly important to understand exactly why companies prefer using this type of work contract. With the two speed system of over-uncertainty (as to their future) as opposed to the over-protectiveness of French undetermined work, new labor market reforms are badly needed. We will attempt to analyze the employment decision and understand the conditions which drive a company to hire someone through one or the other type of contract.
