Study of Planning and Programming of Territorial "Materials" knows as "E2PM" for the Pôle Métropolitain du Grand Amiénois

EPLAMAT
A territorial "Materials" planning and programming study called "E2PM" was launched in January 2025 for the entire territory of the “Pôle Métropolitain du Grand Amiénois”. It should enable the PMGA territory to build its "Materials" strategy in order to move from a model where the territory is massively dependent on imports of natural resources, manufactured goods and distant sales markets, to a model limiting dependence, or at least tending towards a search for optimal use of its own potential. The first phase of this study requires a lot of territorial data in order to carry out an analysis of all the flows of materials that enter the PMGA territory, which are used, transformed, stored there, and then what comes out in the form of exports, to the natural environment or elsewhere. To produce a complete analysis, it is necessary to take into account the road freight transport flows on the PMGA scale. Internal flows of goods transport will also provide valuable information.
