Studying the careers of civil servants on short term contracts
This research project will focus on careers of civil servants on short term contracts (who contribute to the “Ircantec” complementary pension fund). We aim to use the All Employee Annual declaration of social data (“DADS”) panel to follow the careers of civil servants on short term contracts when they leave the Ircantec upon obtaining a permanent position as a civil servant or crossing over to the private sector. By matching the Ircantec data (which identifies civil servants on short term contracts) with the All Employee DADS panel so as to be able to follow careers for this employee sub-population over an extended period of time.
