The impact of employment and housing on the life trajectorie of migrants: fertility and status marital

EMLOMIG
This project studies the effect of employment and housing on family-related behaviour. First, we will analyze the evolution of life courses in terms of fertility and marital status by comparing different groups of immigrants. This will provide more information on the predominant life courses and family patterns among descendants of post-war immigrants and more recent immigrants (post-1990). We will then examine how changes in employment and housing have influenced transitions in marital status and fertility. Finally, we will simulate life patterns (family life and fertility) for descendants of postwar immigrants and recent immigrants to examine how family life patterns have changed as a result of economic and social conditions.
