MAEC BIO RDR3 SIG : Agri-environmental and climatic measures data (GIS format)

The MAEC GIS data are geographical data on the commitments contracted by farmers for each campaign within the framework of the Agro-Environmental and Climate Change Measures (MAEC) and aid for the conversion and maintenance of organic farming under the Rural Development Regulation 2014-2020 (RDR3). The MAEC aim to support changes in agricultural practices in order to respond to environmental pressures identified at the territorial level and to maintain favorable practices that generate environmental benefits where there is a risk of disappearance or evolution towards less virtuous practices. The objective of providing aid for organic farming is to support the development of organic farming areas in the conversion phase, during which the additional costs generated are not compensated by the market, and to support farms that have converted in order to avoid the risk of returning to conventional farming. The files contain vector data in ESRI Shapefiles format, covering France. There are four types of files: for the whole of France, for Guadeloupe, for Martinique, for Guyana and Reunion.
