MAE RDR2 : Agri-environmental measures data from 2007 to 2014

Agri-environmental measures (MAE) are aids granted to farmers who commit to adopting environmentally friendly farming techniques beyond the legal obligations. They form one of the essential components of the second pillar of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). MAE RDR2 data concern the beneficiaries and payments of these aids between 2007 and 2014, a period which corresponds to the second programmed application of the European Rural Development Regulation (RDR2). These data provide information on all agri-environmental measures adopted, on a given date, both per beneficiary farm and per local area.
