The FARE Mayotte file is the individual accounting data file of the ESEM (Survey on Mahoran Companies) system. The ESEM system aims to create a coherent set of statistics on companies in Mayotte being as close as possible to the system in force in metropolitan France and the four overseas departments: ESANE (Elaboration of Annual Company Statistics). The scope of the ESANE is market companies, with the exception of the financial sector and agricultural holdings. The ESEM survey combines administrative data and company survey data. A company is considered to be Mahoran if its headquarters are located in Mayotte. To be able to compare two successive years, the files available span two years: the file for year (n-1) with the methods (adjustments, imputations, etc.) for year (n) and the file for year (n) with the methods for year (n).
