The Cross-Scheme Sample of Contributors enables the study of pension rights acquired under all regimes through data from a sample of people from different generations having all contributed to a pension scheme during their career. This sample aims to recoonstruct their entire career year after year for an anonymous sample of individuals, based on the reconciliation of data from the different regimes. This excludes pension entitlements from voluntary supplementary schemes, as well as income from voluntary individual savings (e.g., retirement savings products). To compensate for the partial absence of data on the careers of civil servants, the information was completed using data from the Panel All Employees and the Permanent Demographic Sample (EDP). DREES (Directorate for Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics) also receives data from The French Employment Centre (Pôle Emploi) to obtain information on certain qualifying periods for retirement.
