Producer : Ministry of Home Affairs (DSED)

The Longitudinal Survey on the Integration of Newly Arrived Immigrants 2 (ELIPA 2) aims to gain a better understanding of people who have recently obtained their residence permit, their background and the conditions of their settlement. It also aims to monitor the integration process of these immigrants and to assess the system for receiving them recently rolled out through the Republican Integration Contracts (CIR). The questionnaire covers insight into the migratory process, the integration process, the administrative process and difficulties experienced, immigrant satisfaction and assessments of the reception system, as well as the immigrant's qualifications, employment, income, housing, family life, health, citizenship, self-esteem and well-being. The survey is conducted in three stages and it includes people aged 18 and over, nationals of non-EEA and EFTA countries, who have obtained their first residence permit of at least one year (excluding students).
