MPAA : Survey on raw materials used for the compound feed industry

The purpose of the Survey on Raw Materials used for the manufacturing of Compound Feeds for farms animals is to collect statistics on the quantities of raw materials used in the composition of compound feeds as well as the quantities of feeds manufactured according to the destination chain by establishments in the sector located on national Metropolitan France territory and in French overseas departments (excluding overseas territories). Quantities are indicated in tons. The topics covered include: - The nutritional raw materials used to manufacture farm animal feed according to product details (complete or complementary feeds including milk replacements and mineral feeds); - The total quantity manufactured according to the destination chain (cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry...) including channels offering guarantees without GMOs and organic production. This exhaustive survey is completed for establishments producing over 5,000 tons of compound feed per year. Out of the 353 establishments surveyed, 269 establishments fall within the scope of the compound feed manufacturing survey.
