This research aims to contribute to the sociology of disability, based on a field that has been little studied until now: housing conditions and residential segregation. Using a combination of statistical and qualitative methods, it aims to gain a better understanding of the specific characteristics of the housing conditions, domestic experiences, residential trajectories and domestic economies of people with disabilities, but also to study the internal differences within this population, particularly in terms of class, gender and age. It is based on the 2022 Household Autonomy Survey and the 2023-2024 National housing Survey, with two components: statistical analysis of these two surveyx and a post-survey involving interviews with respondents to the ENL 2023-2024 who agreed to be contacted again. This research will help shed light on the experiences of people with disabilities in the home, the inequalities they face, and the social conditions that affect their independence.
