Employment in services for elderly people: myths and reality

The objective will be to gain knowledge on job creation in the sector of old age dependency since the setup of the social allowance for independence scheme (APA, “Allocation personnalisée d'autonomie”) in 2002. Several data sources will then be used to take into account three types of jobs: agency mediated, service provider and direct employment. An economic panorama of the job market and of the sector will then be drawn.
