Study of energy pratices in the residential sector

PRARESI
This project aims to study energy-related behaviours in the residential sector. Previous studies have often focused on identifying the determining factors of specific practices (e.g. opening windows, heating temperature). In this project, we wish to adopt a transversal and exhaustive vision of domestic behaviours. The study therefore has two objectives. First, it will describe the diversity of domestic energy behaviours and the social, economic and geographic dynamics which generate these. Also, it aims to integrate these behaviours into a model of energy consumption on a housing level. This project will be carried out as part of a thesis submitted to the Laboratoire Techniques Territoires et Société (LATTS/ENPC). It will be followed and supported by the SDES (Data and statistical studies department) represented by Jean-Philippe Rathle (Head of study on energy consumption in the residential sector).
