Care pathway and primary care quality in the Constances cohort: study of gynechological cancers screening and the main chronic pathologies (Q-PRIM)

In France, the political will aims at strengthening the care system around primary care and thus positions the GP as the main person responsible for the quality of care: he/she is supposed to guide the care pathway by becoming the main interlocutor of the patient, and by ensuring the coordination and continuity of his/her care. However, to date, the link between the care pathway and quality of care is poorly understood. The patient's social position, health status, gender of doctors and local care provision are factors that can influence the care pathway, its quality and their association.
