Statistical regularities of quantities related to companies

REGSTAT
The aim of this thesis is to better understand empirical patterns observed among companies. Thus, while the Pareto principle of the distribution of the number of employees, sales or customers of companies in a given country is a well-documented fact, the mechanisms underpinning it are not fully understood. The same applies, for instance, to the dependence of fluctuations in a company's growth rate on its size. Understanding these mechanisms could, for example, contribute to the development company vulnerability indicators or shed light on the relationship between fluctuations in company size and their impact on a country's GDP.
