A study of local determining factors for living conditions, criminality and delinquency in French neighborhoods

Solely descriptive tasks will first be undertaken to describe the current situation and the evolution of crime and delinquency in France, outlining the variations we obtain (according to the source of information: police data or CVS data, i.e. Victimhood Survey data). Then we will highlight the factors correlated to various types of crime and felonies. After these descriptive tasks have been completed, we will try to establish a causal link between these factors. Usual suspects such as the unemployment rate are most often endogenous, which is a problem that requires solving.
