Ex-post evaluation of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD)
The SSP data will help us better characterize the farms which benefit from subsidies as well as the context in which the subsidies are distributed. To do so we will produce typologies to address evaluation needs. This source will enable the quantification and characterization of non-beneficiaries, namely to build a counterfactual. Peripheral studies will be conducted by INRA and IRSTEA, and agreed upon by the steering committee of the Ex-post evaluation of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). Evaluators will thus have resources to answer evaluative questions in the form of tables of statistics with comments, alongside notes on the sources, preparation and data quality and processing methods.
