Professional Mobility and Wage Dynamics
This study aims to gain an understanding of the extent to which wage dynamics are related to the accumulation of human capital and the extent to which these are the result of a frictional matching process within and between companies. We will use wages and occupations in our empirical work. Furthermore, because occupational change is observed both within companies and when employers change, we examine internal and external labour markets between companies. We will attempt to understand the respective roles of internal and external mobility in the careers and wage dynamics of French employees. The work will be empirical, theoretical, and econometric.
