Profile and background of seasonal employees

The purpose of the study is to quantify and gain a sound understanding of the profile and career paths of seasonal employees, in particular those for whom seasonal work is their main activity, winter and summer tourism professionals. Thus, the aim is to undertake a quantitative and qualitative study on seasonal workers in the hotel, café and restaurant, fastfood and self-service catering sectors, as well as in casinos, open-air hotels, tourist organisations, leisure, attraction and cultural sectors. The aim is to respond to axis 2: developing the attractiveness of professions, building employee loyalty and securing the professional careers of EDEC (Development and Skills commitment) framework agreements for branches operating in the tourism sector, particularly concerning employees whose jobs are seasonal in nature.
