This project is part of a strategic approach aimed at strengthening the quality and relevance of the study programmes of the French National Housing Agency (Anah) and at responding quickly to political evaluation emergencies. It enables the agency to meet the expectations of its supervisory authorities regarding the analysis of Anah's schemes and their evolution, in a context where detailed knowledge of the private housing stock is a key lever for guiding public renovation policies.
Anah is responsible for designing and providing robust indicators on the condition of the private housing stock, which help identify renovation potential, assess the effectiveness of support schemes, and anticipate future needs. Since 2006, Anah has produced in-depth analyses based on the National Housing Survey, a major source for understanding the dynamics of the private sector.
Access to Filocom and new property ownership data will also improve the understanding and evolution of renovation schemes.
