Urban growth and spatial disparities

The aim of this project is to study the growth of cities, the impact of construction restrictions and evolving intra and inter-urban disparities since the 1960s. A first axis will focus on urban changes in building, population, jobs and daily travel. A second axis will analyze the factors underpinning urban development, such as transportation networks and land use constraints. The third axis will examine the evolution of intra- and inter-urban disparities in housing and labour markets.
